There is going to be a launch party on May 2, 2011 and this is the day when AT&T will have the HP Veer mobile phone on its system.

The HP Veer was announced back in February and according to Pre-Central AT&T will have this handset because they received an email after signing up to the event that they needed to take an ID badge or an AT&T/Best Buy Business card” to get in, self explanatory really.

The HP Veer is expected to sell at about $100 possibly less, if AT&T have anything to do with it the Veer mobile phone will be free on selected contracts.

HP Veer Main Features Include: 512 MB of RAM, 2.6 inches (320 x 400 pixels) display, GPS, WiFi, 800MHz Qualcomm processor, Bluetooth, quadband GSM/EDGE, physical QWERTY slide-out keyboard, 5-megapixel camera, triband 3G and much more.
