We have some good news for anyone that has jailbroken their iOS device, a TinyUmbrella update that supports iOS 4.3.2 and iOS 4.2.7.
An article coming to us by way of the guys at iDB, states that the developer behind TinyUmbrella @notcom has updated the popular utility once again, in line with the release of the iOS 4.3.2/4.2.7. We previously did an article on March 8, 2011 for a TinyUmbrella update bringing support for iOS 4.3 GM — see article here.
This newest version (4.32.01) gives iOS 4.3.2 (GSM) and iOS 4.2.7 (CDMA) support. In addition, the new version comes with a new feature, which automatically takes you to the TinyUmbrella website when you are running an outdated version. Although, we will always keep you informed when a new update becomes available.
So once again, to save your SHSH blobs, all you have to do is connect your iDevice to your computer via USB, launch TinyUmbrella, and then click the “Save SHSH” button (it’s as easy as 1-2-3).
If you own an iPhone and wish to get the latest version of TinyUmbrella, download here. The software will run on OS X and Windows. However, keep in mind that it is always good to backup your SHSH blobs as they are needed in order to downgrade to previous firmware that Apple are no longer signing.
If you have downloaded the latest version of TinyUmbrella, please let us know your views.
