The release of the Samsung Droid Charge as you are probably aware was delayed due to an outage problem with the Verizon 4G LTE network, and thus far Verizon has not confirmed a new release date for the new Android 4G smartphone.
However apparently that doesn’t stop Best Buy from selling the handset as according to Gizmo Crunch, by way of Nexus404, a member of Android Forums called Moondrius claims he walked into a Best Buy store to purchase a placeholder Thunderbolt until the Droid Charge was released and received a surprise.
Apparently that surprise was the Best Buy guy pulled out a Samsung Droid Charge and sold it to him, and the word is the purchase Samsung Droid Charge was pre-installed with a 32GB card.
So although Best Buy isn’t supposed to be selling the Samsung Droid Charge just yet it would appear some Best Buy stores will indeed sell you the device.
So whose up for hitting their local Best Buy outlet to see if they can pick up the Samsung Droid Charge, and of course if you do and are successful feel free to shout about it in our comments area below.
