For anyone that is eagerly awaiting the release of HTC’s Android enabled Flyer tablet and was expecting to see a digital stylus (one of the features that makes this tablet different from all the others) included with the device, I have some bad news — the Flyer comes on its own without the pen.

There was quite a bit of speculation circulating over whether the HTC Flyer would or would not include the digital stylus. However, it would appear now that the Stylus will be sold separately and at present HTC are not prepared to reveal what price it will retail at.

See quote below from an HTC rep, coming to us by way of Droid-Life:

“I understand you would like confirmation if the Digital Stylus would be coming with the Flyer. The Digital Stylus will be sold separately. We currently do not have any pricing information on how much the Digital Stylus would be.”

However, the guys at AndroidCentral have indicate that an eagled eyed reader found the stylus aka HTC Digital Pen on the Best Buy website with a retail price of $79.99.
