Taking that great picture with your iPhone isn’t just about pointing and shooting, but more about just how creative you can get with a photo by utilising an iOS app so you get the best from your photos, and there are quite a few apps available.

However, the guys over at Mashable have taken a look at some of the most popular iPhotography apps, and have concentrated on the Color Splash app for the iPhone, which has constantly been among the top 10 best selling photography apps for the iPhone in the Untied States.

The founder of the company that made the Color Splash app, developer Hendrik Kueck says, “As a developer you always think about your users and wonder how they might be using your app. It is incredibly satisfying to read user reviews on the App Store from users expressing their love for your app and hearing how it encourages them to take more photos and get more creative with their photography. And it is more gratifying still to actually see the amazing images people are creating using the app.”

Kueck has hand picked ten photos that were created using the Color Splash app, a couple of which you can see here and if you wish to view the rest you can find them on the Mashable website. The Color Splash iOS app is available to purchase from iTunes at a cost of $0.99.
