Xperia Play Pre-orders on Verizon Starts 19 Available 26 In Stores
For those of you over in the good ole US of A who may have been waiting to place your order for the first PlayStation phone, the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play with the Verizon network, the word is you can do so as of the 19th of this month.
According to the guys over at the Boy Genius Report, Verizon has now officially announced that potential customers can pre-order the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play online as of the 19th of May and the Android smartphone will be available in stores as of the 26th of May.
So what will the Android 2.3 Gingerbread PlayStation certified handset hit your pocket for? The Xperia Play will command a price tag of $199.99with a new 2-year agreement, and customers will require a Verizon Nationwide Talk plan and a smartphone data package starting at $39.99 per month for a talk plan and unlimited data plan at $29.99 a month.
The Sony Ericsson Xperia Play will come preloaded with 7 games Asphalt 6: Adrenaline, The Sims 3, Tetris, Crash Bandicoot, Madden NFL 11, Star Battalion, and Bruce Lee Dragon Warrior. So there it is, pre-order, availability and pricing, so anyone going to be picking up the Xperia Play from Verizon?
