The HTC Trophy has been on the market for a while now but Verizon has now finally got round to offer their customers the first Windows Phone 7 smartphone to play nice on the Big Red network, the HTC Trophy and have announced the release date.
According to the guys over at Slash Gear, the Verizon HTC Trophy is still the same handset that appears months ago, but is now a world phone with CDMA and GSM/HSPA for roaming action outside the states.
As for that release date the HTC Trophy will become available online as of the 26th of this month and in Verizon store as of the 2nd of June. The Windows Phone 7 handset will command a price tag of $149.99 based on a 2-year agreement and a 50-buck mail in rebate.
Furthermore if you pot to pick up the HTC Trophy from Verizon before the 15th of July the Big Red will treat you to an Xbox 360 game for free, which will be either Kinect Sports, Lode Runner or Halo: Reach, now isn’t that good of them.
Any of our readers going to be rushing to hit up Verizon online to grab their first Windows Phone 7 smartphone or are you going to wait until it hits the stores?
