Apple iPad 2 Supply Issues Ease, iOS Tablets Available Faster

As you are no doubt aware if you are in the market for an Apple iPad 2, Apple has been struggling a bit to fulfil demand for the popular iOS tablet, but apparently those woes and now over as supply problems start to ease.

According to an article over on Cult of Mac, by way of Apple Insider, according to analyst Shaw Wu of Sterne Agee changes made in overseas manufacturing have “significantly improved” and the changes have gone a long way to addressing the problem.

However, Agee apparently also cautioned that Apple is a long way off meeting their goal for production of the Apple iPad 2 and says… “From our understanding, [Apple] still has a ways to hit the [second half] goal of 3-4 million units per month but getting closer.”

Thus Wu has adjusted his estimates for iPad sales accordingly and now estimates Apple shifting 6.8 million tablets rather then the previous estimation of 5.9 million for third fiscal quarter of 2011.

So there you go, if true then people should be able to snap up the Apple iPad 2 more easily, so if you have been experiencing problems getting hold of one, keep trying.
