Looks like Motorola is the flavour of the day when it comes to new smartphones, as it appears that the specifications for the Motorola Droid 3 have now been outed by an unnamed tipster, that has apparently been reliable in the past when delivering confirmed info.
According to Ubergizmo by way of TechnoBuffalo, the rumour was the Motorola Droid 3 would pack a 4-inch qHD touch screen and this has now been confirmed by said tipster, with a modified keyboard that sports a 5th row of dedicated number buttons.
The Android toting Droid 3 will pack a dual-core processor, possible an NVIDIA Tegra 2 or possibly an OMAP, the tipster isn’t too sure on that one. The device will have an 8 megapixel rear facing camera along with a front facing camera, although no word on what resolution that will be.
Apparently if you are contemplating picking up the Motorola Droid 3 the tipster says the device is slated for June and also says that the handset will not have support for 4G LTE, which seems somewhat strange considering the handset is destined for Verizon. More on this as and when we hear.
