Apple currently delivers, when it comes to storage, no higher than the 32GB iPhone, but in the past there have been rumours that Apple might push out a larger capacity iOS smartphone, a 64GB version, and now more on the rumoured 64GB iPhone has been spotted.

According to an article over on Phone Dog by way of This Is My Next, a memo from Verizon 3rd party retailer Russell Cellular makes mention of a white iPhone 4 32GB and a 64GB version, of course this is firmly still in the realms of rumour as it could simply be a typing mistake.

However the guys of This Is My Next do feel that a 64GB iPhone is plausible, as it would take little effort from Apple to make such changes on the assembly line to come up with that extra capacity handset.

Of course, as no one really knows what to expect with the iPhone 5 when it sees release later in the year, Apple could already have made such changes as to enable a 64GB iPhone and we could maybe see a 64GB iPhone 5 or iPhone 4S, who knows.
