Apparently Nokia hasn’t given up the ghost with unveiling Symbian operating system smartphones just yet as the word is Nokia has now unveiled the Nokia Oro, an 18ct gold plated handset with sapphire crystal and real leather with a hefty luxury price tag to suit.
According to the guys over at Engadget the upmarket Nokia Oro is actually a spruced up Nokia C7 with a 3.5-inch AMOLED touch screen, pentaband radio, 8 megapixel camera with 720p video recording and running Symbian.
Apparently the Nokia Oro will launch in selected markets in Asia and Europe in Q3 and will command a price tag of 800 Euros, which is roughly $1126 before taxes and subsidies.
