Looks like India will soon get two Android tablets and Windows tablet from China’s G’Five and both devices will be 3G and WiFi and will be priced lower that the Apple iPad 2 16GB which starts at Rs. 29,500 while the Android and Windows tablets will be priced under Rs. 10,000.
According to an article over on Gadgets, mobile handset maker G’Five will launch the 2 Android based tablets along with the Windows based tablet by the end of June.
The managing director of Kingtech Electronics India Private Ltd, a company of G’Five International, Arshit Pathak said, “G’Five plans to launch its range of tablet computing devices in Indian market by the end of this business quarter which is end of Jun, 2011. Our business philosophy is to make technology affordable to the common people.”
Apparently one Android tablet will be a 7-inch device while the other will be a 10-inch tablet, and the Windows based tablet will also be 10-inches, although no other details on the tablets have been announced.
