Is Apple going to make AT&T its exclusive network carriers again when it releases the next smartphone aka iPhone 5 (4S)? And it has been suggested the next iPhone will have 4G and will be for AT&T only Not Verizon.
As we know rumours fly around the web very easy indeed, and an article via Barrons reports that Todd Rethemeier, an analyst at Hudson Square Research has ignored speculated claims that the 5th generation iPhone will be called the iPhone 4S, and apparently it will miss the 4G wireless support. He says that the next-gen smartphone by Apple will be called the ‘iPhone 5’ and will feature 4G compatibility, whilst leaving Verizon in the dark.
Rethemeier, reports that the iPhone 5 will be capable of download speeds of 5-10 Mbps. This is a big difference compared to Verizon’s max 1 Mbps.
There is no solid proof that the above claims are true or false, which means sitting back and waiting patiently yet again for official announcements. Is this just a rumour to get you on the edge of your seat?
