Honeycomb Issues Delay Euro Launch of Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1
As you may know it is expected that the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 will see release over in the US of A on or about the 16th of this month; however for those in Europe waiting for the Galaxy Tab 8.9 and Galaxy Tab 10.1 it appears the launch has been delayed.
According to the guys over at Slash Gear, by way of the man in the know when it comes to all things mobile, Eldar Murtazin, who has tweeted that both the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 and 10.1for Europe have been delayed until August.
Murtazin tweeted…”Samsung tablets 8.9 and 10.1 delaying until august in Europe due to android 3.1 issues and that’s google decision.”
There’s no word on what these Android 3.1 Honeycomb issues both the Android tablets are experiencing, but it appears that Europeans still have a while to wait until they can grab the devices. Let’s hope that the US versions of the tablets aren’t affected by whatever Android 3.1 issues have been found.
