No Samsung Galaxy S2 (II) July Release: Verizon Confusion
Reports are coming in that the Samsung Galaxy S2 (II); is going to release on Verizon in July, this is totally untrue. There was a little confusion and miscommunication; it is the Galaxy Tab 10.1 not the smartphone.
Engadget published an article earlier on today stating the Samsung Galaxy S2 was to release in July on Verizon, but then they quickly updated their article after a Verizon spokesperson mentioned that it was a reference to the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, not the Galaxy S2.
Many sites on the web reported that it was confirmed via email the smartphone was to release in July, and that no firm date in July was available.
If you happen to come across any news group sites or blogs reporting the July release, please do not get a little excited as apparently and according to Engadget it is not happening now. At the moment we have had no email via Verizon with the official release, we will of course keep you updated.

who cares … since I waited this long for an iphone clone aka Galaxy S2, I might as well wait it out for the real deal iphone5
If the Galazy S2 or the Motorola Droid Bionic take much longer, I’m holding out for the iphone5.
This is getting ridiculous.
Yes, it’s a best seller across the pond and has been released on many other countries already.
They may lose me to the iphone if we have to wait until August or September. Couldn’t they at least be taking pre-orders?

I Feel like I’m aging so much faster waiting for the GS2!!! Reading about it everyday doesn’t help either. Damn you Samsung!! Please BRING it the states…and leave the physical button intact..I want it just the way it is!!!
