Apple Plans Global iPhone 5 with 4G LTE: Are They?
Is Apple going to release the global iPhone 5 with 4G LTE later this year is a question everyone is asking, well apparently they could be according to United Arab Emirates-based carrier Etisalat.
According to Gulf News, Ali Al Ahmad who is the Etisalat Chief Corporate Communication Officer reported that they were in discussions with Apple about the iPhone 5 launching later in the year. The discussion talks about Apple rolling out the iPhone 5 with 4G LTE technologies later this year in the Middle East and has already had talks about handsets and chipsets.
It is not solid evidence as of yet if the iPhone 5 will support Etisalat’s LTE network, but it is possible the LTE iPhone is believed to been pushed to 2012. There are too many speculations at the moment, but can see a possible iPhone launch this year.
AT&T is planning on rolling out the new LTE technology network by the end of 2011, we all know that Verizon already has data rates of between 5Mbps and 12Mbps downstream and 2Mbps to 5Mbps upstream. However, AT&T did show-off download speeds of 28.87 Mbps and 10.4 Mbps for uploads.
There have been many articles online via reports that the new iPhone will be called the iPhone 5 or even the iPhone 4GS, some say it may launch late June early July, but we believe that September is more likely. Please let us know what you think.
The above report shows that something is about to happen, do you believe that the launch of a global iPhone 5 with 4G LTE will launch later in the year?
