For those long suffering HTC Thunderbolt users who have been experiencing the rebooting issue with their Android smartphone, as you probably know Verizon is expected to release and update to fix the problem on the 15th of the month; however if you simply can’t wait any longer the Thunderbolt MR2 ROM update is available.
Why would you want to grab this MR2 update for the HTC Thunderbolt? Well because according to the guys over at Pocket Now and by way of Android Police, the MR2 update for the Verizon Thunderbolt fixes those random resets.
Apparently the update will be rolled out over the air as of the 15th to all HTC thunderbolt users, but if you wish to grab it early you can now do so, and it should fix the problems along with adding a 3G/LTE toggle switch, improve signal strength and other stuff.
There are apparently 2 versions available to download, a custom rooted ROM running MR2 and an un-rooted stock MR2 version that can be grabbed by heading over to Android Police. If you do grab either of the updates feel free to let us know if you have any problems by posting to our comments area below.
