Whatever Nokia is doing with Meego there hasn’t been that much news on lately, however apparently the word doing the rounds is that Nokia may just finally unveil their first Meego device during their Nokia Connection 2011 event in Singapore on the 21st of this month.
According to an article over on NokNok by way of Itwire, Nokia is sending out invites to the event but with very little info attached other than this will apparently be a product demonstration, so the speculation is that Nokia just might unveil the Meego device.
Apparently Nokia is promising a “new market disruptor,” but other than that no more info is available and Nokia hasn’t said if this “new market disruptor” will be a smartphone or a tablet; however apparently after the demonstration, there is to be a live broadcast of Nokia boss Stephen Elop’s keynote speech.
Apparently the demo will be delivered by the product and technology marketing manager for Nokia Australia, Kurt Bonnici, and he will be only available to answer tech questions related to this new device.
And that’s all you get until Nokia unveils all on the 21st of June, so what are your thoughts, will Nokia uncover their first Meego device, will it be a smartphone, tablet or some other devices? Feel free to voice your suggestions to our comments area below.
