Droid 3 Is Motorola Milestone 3 In China
Although here in the United Kingdom we will not be seeing the UK version of the Motorola Droid 3, which would have been called the Motorola Milestone 3 as Motorola has seen fit not to release the Android device in the UK, this isn’t the case in China as they now have the Motorola Milestone 3.
Word has come down by way of the guys over at Engadget, by way of Droid-life that during China Telecom’s CDMA Summit, Motorola went official with a new smartphone, the XT883, a device being touted as the “third Milestone.”
The word is China will see the Motorola Milestone 3 also know as the Motorola Droid 3 over in the States, sometime in the summer, although it isn’t too clear whether the US or Chinese version will release first.
Spec wise the Motorola Milestone 3 delivers a 4-inch qHD touch screen, slide out 5-row QWERTY keyboard, Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, a dual core processor, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, 1080p video, and up to 32GB of built-in storage.
It’s still unclear just why Motorola decided not to release the Motorola Milestone 3 in the UK but it appears China will have no problem offering the handset to their Motorola faithful.
