For those over in the great white of Canada who are patiently awaiting the arrival of the Samsung Galaxy S2 smartphone to came and play in Canada the word is you don’t have that much longer to wait as the Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone is coming in July.

According to the guys over at Android Central, regional carrier SaskTel announced via their Twitter account that the Samsung Galaxy S2 would be launch on SaskTel sometime next month, although just what date hasn’t been said.

Here’s what @SaskTel tweeted…” We will be launching the Samsung Galaxy S II device in the next month that has the dual core. ^KK”

Thus it appears that those Canadian Android faithful can look forward to picking up the Samsung Galaxy S successor in July, that is of course if all rings true and you don’t mind going with SaskTel.
