So apparently if or once you get Apple’s new iOS 5 to play nice on your Apple iPad 2 you’ll be able to bring some dual screen gaming into your life by way of your iPad 2 and Apple TV, and we have a video of iOS 5 dual screen gaming on the Apple iPad 2 for your viewing consideration below.

The guys over at Engadget loaded iOS 5 onto their iOS tablet and Apple TV and set about playing the latest edition of Real Racing 2 HD enabling dual screen over Airplay and videoed the occasion so we could all share in the experience.

The iOS tablet is used as the controller for race mode and navigation and the actual game only shows up on the TV screen while the tablet display shows such things as track map and vitals. The guys do say that there is some lag when using Airplay between the Apple iPad and Apple TV that could cause issues for certain time orientated games.
