Apple Goes For Jugular Sues Samsung On Home Turf
That little patent infringement spat between Apple and Samsung doesn’t appear to be going away anytime soon, and it appears that Apple has now stepped up the game after old Sammy was denied access to the iPhone 5 and the Apple iPad 3.
According to the guys over at Slash Gear, by way of Bloomberg, Apple has now taken the fight to the land of Samsung, and has files a lawsuit against Samsung in South Korea.
As you know the patent fight between Apple and Samsung is being fought in the US but with Apple filing in the Seoul Central District Court on the 22nd of this month, it looks like Apple is going for the Samsung jugular on Sammy’s home turf.
Apparently Samsung responded with an email that said, “We will continue to actively defend and protect our intellectual property.”
Now whether Apple will have an easy time convincing a South Korean court is a different matter considering the huge presence Samsung has in the county. Personally these two should kiss and make up and get on with the business of delivering great devices to the public, do you agree?
