For those over here in the United Kingdom who are waiting the arrival of the latest Android slate out of the Samsung camp, the Samsung Galaxy 10.1, the word on the UK release date for the Android 3.1 Honeycomb tablet has now been revealed.

According to the guys over at Unwired View, UK Galaxy Tab 10.1 hopefuls will be able to snap up the Android tablet as of the 4th of August, which isn’t really that too long a wait.

Apparently old Sammy also announced that the smaller version of their Galaxy tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 will release sometime later in the year, but didn’t come forth with an actual date.

A quick spec reminder for those that may have forgotten, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 sports a 10-inch touch screen of course, a 1GHz Tegra 2 dual core processor, 3 megapixel rear facing auto-focus snapper with LED flash along with a 2 megapixel front facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, and 1080p HD video playback.

So there you have it those interested in picking up the Galaxy Tab 10.1 in the UK will be able to do so in the not too far off future.
