JailbreakMe 3.0 aka Saffron is now live and available for all iOS devices including the Apple iPad 2, its works on all devices running iOS 4.3.3. We would like to know of any problems, here are a few questions we found online to get it going.
One question that we found comes via JailbreakQA, in a nutshell someone asked if they have tried using JailbreakMe 3.0 on the Apple iPhone 4 with iOS 4.3.3 and 1.59 BB. If they did have they come up against a problem where they are getting the 1 signal bar problem.
They basically want to know if JailbreakMe has the signal bar problem, they go on to say that ultrasn0w was supposed to fix the problem but their MMS and VVM stops working when they install ultrasn0w. Please answer this in the commenting area below, much appreciated.
Another question on JailbreakQA has been closed for some reason because it covers iOS 5; the question was “Will jailbreakme 3.0 ever support the existing iOS 5 betas?”
They mention that Apple will fix the exploit in the next betas or in the gm version, but while the exploit still exists, it would make developers life much easier, if we could have an untethered jailbreak for the already released betas since I have only one iphone and iPad2, I have to use a tethered jailbreak on my daily used phone, and my ipad isn’t even jailbroken yet (maybe I’ll downgrade it). So is there any chance for this release?
