Nokia is set to release a brand new smartphone called the Nokia 700 aka Zeta, this was kept in the dark as we have only just found out about it. This is Nokia’s latest Symbian device, and no it is not Anna it is Belle.

Below are some impressive official pictures courtesy of ‘Know Your Mobile’, looking good. This handset is rumoured to feature a 3.2-inch AMOLED display, 1GHz processor, -megapixel camera with an LED flash, NFC connectivity and the new Symbian Belle operating system.

The Nokia 700 Zeta is only 10mm thick, this could possibly be the thinnest Nokia mobile phone to date. This handset will come in white, black and three other colour variants, looking at previous Nokia devices we believe red and blue will come into play, well hopefully these colours will release.

Nokia needs to get back on track and release something special, could the Nokia 700 aka Zeta be just what everyone wants? Apple and Android smartphones are taking the market by storm, basically outselling any other mobile on the market, Nokia needs to make this happen and sell of course.

Nokia are set to release mobile smartphones with high-specs at an affordable cost to compete with rivals, with the Zeta smartphone featuring a 3.2-inch AMOLED display, HD resolution of 640×360 pixels, 5-megapixel rear camera, front-facing VGA camera and with a size of 110x51x10mm and weighing 80 grams, seems to be on the right track so far.

Other specs include as said above a 1GHz processor, NFC capabilities where you can pay for goods via mobile, which means waving goodbye to plastic card payments. Also if all correct will feature 3G support for HSPA speed connectivity, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 32 GB via micro SD card.

If all the specifications above are correct, then we can see the Nokia 700 Zeta doing very well indeed. All Nokia needs to do is put the correct price tag to the phone, if they get this slightly wrong then you might as well say game over for the Finnish firm.
