Droid 3 Gets Unboxed and Handled on Video

Motorola has pushed out numerous Droid devices since 2009 when they delivered the first Motorola Droid to the Verizon network and the latest in the Droid line of device is the Motorola Droid 3, and we have a little unboxing video footage of the Android smartphone for your viewing consideration below.

The unboxing of the Motorola Droid 3 video comes our way courtesy of Aaron Baker over at Phone Dog who unwraps the device on camera and tries out the handset in this almost eleven minute video.

Spec wise the Motorola Droid 3 offers the user a 4-inch qHD touch screen, 1GHz dual core processor, an 8 megapixel rear camera with 1080p video, front facing camera, slide out QWERTY keyboard, GPs, Bluetooth 2.1, WiFi, DNLA, 16GB memory, microSD expansion up to 32GB and a 3.5mm jack, and of course Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system.

The original Motorola Droid was big success for both Motorola and Verizon, while the Motorola Droid and was followed by several others but the Droids seems to have dropped from the flagship status, so perhaps the Motorola Droid 3 will be able to regain that flagship status on Verizon.

The Motorola Droid 3 is already available on the Big Red and commands a price tag of some $199.99 when signing your life away for the usual two-year term, but is the Motorola Droid 3 the Android device for you?

Well that’s not for me to say, but rather for you to head on down and mash that play button to check out the Motorola Droid 3 being unboxed and such, which may or may not sway your decision one way or the other.

Aaron does say though that although the Motorola Droid 3 is only a 3G handset and runs Mororola’s applications platform, the device is the second handset to feature a dual core processor on Verizon and runs the latest Android operating system.

So, with that said I’ll leave you to check out the unboxing and with this question, are you hoping to pick up the Motorola Droid 3 or are you still hanging on for the Motorola Droid Bionic?
