HTC has recently announced its new Android smartphone called the HTC Weike; it comes with a dedicated button for the Chinese-like Twitter service called Sina Weibo.
The HTC Weike Android smartphone will give you that perfect jump for share the unique key microblogging you desire, this is a one-touch access microblogging button that will allow users to share photos, music, web pages, status’s etc.
HTC already have the ChaCha aka HTC Status with the dedicated Facebook button, and now they have revealed this Weike smartphone for the Chinese market, all we need now is a dedicated phone with a Google+ button.
The Sina Weibo service now has over 140-million registered users, so it makes sense that they have unveiled this new phone.
The HTC Weike will be selling in Chinese retail stores for about 3,380 yuan (US$524).
The HTC Weike Main Features Include: 800 MHz processor, 512 MB built-in storage and microSD memory card, 512 MB RAM, 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack, micro-USB, Gravity sensor, Digital compass, Ambient light sensor, Distance sensor, FM Radio, 1520 mAh lithium-ion battery supplying up to 8.31 hours (WCDMA) and up to 10.2 hours (GSM) talk time, up to 820 hours (WCDMA) and up to 505 hours (GSM) standby time, Android operating system with HTC Sense, 5-megapixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, plus a front-facing VGA camera.
3G will give download speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 384 kbps, GPRS download speeds of up to 114 kbps and EDGE download speeds of up to 560 kbps.
Other features include: Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 that supports FTP / OPP file transfer, A2DP stereo wireless headphones and PBAP, support the car kit phone book access. It also has Built-in GPS antenna and Navigation map GPS.
