Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2: Bigger-Screen & Tegra 3 Kal-El

Asus have a big surprise in store for tablet buyers; the company has just confirmed that they are working on the new Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2, which will come with a bigger screen and a more impressive NVIDIA quad-core Tegra 3 aka Kal-El processor.

At the moment the new tablet is known as the Transformer 2, and this one will be so much better than the first one. This news has been confirmed, by Asus chairman Jonney Shih and at the moment not a lot of information can be mentioned of the devices new features.

All we know is, the software and hardware will be more impressive and very much more powerful, apparently according to Forbes the new tablet will debut in September, is this the year of September releases; Nokia N9, Apple iPhone 5 and now the new Asus Transformer tablet PC. September is going to be the best month of the whole year for new releases, stay with us because it is going to be fantastic.

The current Asus Eee Pad Transformer costs around about $395, so we will speculate that the new one will be a little more expensive. All we know is the new tablet will be more impressive than the first, Asus will reveal the tablet before the end of the year as they cannot wait for the Consumer Electronics Show in January, September it is then.

Asus shipped a cool 300,000 units last month and 400,000 this month, so it stands to reason that the second tablet will do better.

Asus are still planning on launching the two remaining tablets, the first being the 10-inch sliding keyboard Eee Pad Slider, and the second one being the 7-inch, 3D-enabled Eee Pad MeMo within the next month or so.

There are many new tablet PC’s releasing so how will the new Asus Eee Pad Transformer tablet fair in the tablet sales corner?

We have got to wait, sit back and be patient until official information comes in to us, we speculate the Transformer 2 could possibly come with a bigger screen and a much better processor, but this is speculation. Asus chairman Jonney Shih has refrained from letting anything out of the bag.

Is the Asus Eee Pad Transformer 2 exciting you yet? Whilst we wait for more information what specs would you like the new tablet PC to feature. Please do let us know what you are thinking. Thanks
