iPhone Accessories: Bluelounge MiniDock: Introduction Video

Obviously no matter what smartphone you use at some point you will of course need to charge the device, and if you don’t really like charging via cable and you have an iOS device there is an alternatives solution to charging your precious iPhone or iPod called the MiniDock from Bluelounge.

The Bluelounge MiniDock is brought to our attention by the guys over at Ubergizmo, and the Bluelounge MiniDock is quite a simple device to use to charge your iPhone without wires, all you do is you plug the MiniDock via its USB connection into your original iPHone AC adapter and then plug it into a wall socket, place your iPhone on the MiniDock and you are off and running.

The beauty of the Bluelounge MiniDock is that it can charge your iPhone anywhere there is a wall socket and no more unsightly cables lying around and without having to place your beloved iOS smartphone on the floor.

As stated in the title of this post we have a quick introduction video of the Bluelounge MiniDock showing just how easy it is to use the iOS accessory, although the device doesn’t work with the Apple iPad, so don’t forget to check that out below.

The blurb on the video page goes…”MiniDock allows consumers to charge and display their iPhone in an upright position in any electrical outlet without disorganized cords. Intended for use with existing Apple USB Power Adapter, iPhone or iPod can now plug directly into an electrical outlet. Ideal while traveling or in any home or office environment, MiniDock is lightweight, cord-free, and allows users to simplify and de-clutter the charging areas normally occupied with the unsightly and wayward cords.”

The MiniDock is also small enough for the traveller as it can easily slip into your bag, pocket or luggage and will always be at hand so if you are out and about as long as you can get access to a wall socket, perhaps in a restaurant or such, you can charge your iPhone.

So how much will the MiniDock for the iPhone hit your pocket for? Well actually it isn’t that expensive at $19.95 a pop from Bluelounge, and there are three versions available, one for the US one for the UK and one for the rest of the EU.
