ViewSonic Android G Tablet Now For Less
If you are of a mind to pick up an Android tablet and have been considering the Viewsonic G tablet, and Android 2.2 Froyo slate, then you might like to hear that the ViewSonic G Tablet has just got a little bit cheaper, as previously the slate was priced at $269.99, but has now seen a small price cut that will save you 30 bucks.
We posted an article back in July that Woot was offering the ViewSonic G Tablet for $269.99 along with $5 shipping and now the company has dropped that price further to a reasonably low $239.99 again with $5 shipping.
The ViewSonic G Tablet offers the user a 10.1-inch touch screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, NVIDIA Tegra 2 1GHz dual core processor, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, built in 2x 1-watt stereo speakers, 1080p video playback, H.264, WMV, WMA, MP3, DivX, 16GB internal memory, 3.5mm headphone jack, Adobe Flash Player, Kindle, Pandora Radio, Angry Birds and access to the Android Market, and microSD expansion up to 32GB.
The ViewSonic G Tablet measures 10.5 x 6.8 inches and weighs in at 1.55 pounds, and has a 3650mAh battery delivering up to 8 to 10 hours of life.
For your 240 bucks you get in the box, the ViewSonic G Tablet of course along with a user guide, quick start guide, ESD cover, USB cable, power adapter, and a cleaning cloth.
So there you have it, the only real thing going against the ViewSonic G Tablet is that the slate isn’t an Android Honeycomb device but if you are fine running along on Android 2.2 Froyo then maybe the tablet is the one for you.
