Windows Phone Mango HTC Omega First Picture
Phones Review Quickie: As most are aware the next round of Windows Phone smartphones will be Mango and we’ve already seen the first Windows Phone Mango device earlier, the Fujitsu IS12T, and the Windows Phone faithful are treated to another Mango device today in the form of the first press image of the upcoming HTC Omega.
The picture of the HTC Omega smartphone comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Slash Gear and by way of Pocket Now, the HTC Omega is likely to be unveiled during HTC’s September 1st event, and apparently there’s also speculation of another HTC handset possibly being announced called the HTC Eternity.
Ok now for some presumed specification goodness on the HTC Omega, the Mango device will sport a 3.8-inch SLCD touch screen, 8 megapixel camera with LED flash, a front facing camera of some description that could possibly suggest Skype integration for video chat, DNLA support, 512MB RAM and a 1.5 GHz Snapdragon processor.
Apparently the word is the HTC Omega could possibly see a name change on release to the HTC Radar, and as for that HTC Eternity, the only rumoured specs so far is the smartphone may be a high end device sporting a 4.7-inch AMOLED touch screen.
And that’s just about your lot when it comes to new Windows Phone Mango device for now, but of course as soon as we hear more we will of course pass whatever info comes our way along.
