Obviously all the iOS faithful along with everyone else in the mobile space knows that Apple will release the latest version of their operating system iOS 5 in the not too distant future along with iCloud and of course the next generation iPhone. But what we have for your viewing consideration below is an iOS 5 features concept video that shows quite a few possible features that could be used in iOS 5.
The Apple – iOS 5 — Brand New Concepts video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at iDownloadblog and by way of TheAppleDatabase on YouTube and delivers almost five minutes checking out the features.
Those iOS 5 features include, 3rd party widget management via Notification Center, collapsible notifications in Notification Center, persistent notifications in status bar, unobtrusive incoming call notifications, app icon changing on the springboard based on different notifications, widgets in Spotlight search window, fast app switching with Mac OS X style gestures, better app and widget management, iPhone and Mac joined via WiFi connection, and new touch gestures for managing open apps.
There have been quite a few iOS 5 concept videos in the past but the guys believe that this one packs the most features into the footage, but obviously as this is an iOS 5 concept video there’s no guarantee any of the features will be in iOS 5 once it hits.
Still it’s nice to see what people can come up with and who knows perhaps this type of video gives Apple ideas for update to the operating system, anyway I’ll leave it right there and let you head on down to mash that play button and check out the footage.
Of course we’d lover to hear from our iOS faithful readers out there that might have a few iOS 5 feature ideas themselves, so feel free to pass them along by posting to our comments area below…enjoy.
