Android Honeycomb HTC Jetstream Priced And Released
Phones Review Quickie: There’s a new Android tablet now available over in the good old US of A from AT&T, the HTC Jetstream, a slate that AT&T announced last week and has now been made available to purchase albeit at a rather hefty asking price of $849.99 if you want the Android slate off contract.
According to the guys over at the Boy Genius Report, AT&T has now gone all official and has the HTC Jetstream up for grabs on their website, a slate that will hit your pocket for $699.99 when signing on for the usual two-year term and a minimum data plan of $35 per month, an in what they call “shimmering silver.”
Spec wise the HTC Jetstream tablet offers the customer a larger touch screen than the HTC Flyer, at 10.1-inches, a 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon processor, 8 megapixel rear facing camera with dual LED flash, a 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, 1GB RAM, 32GB memory, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, 7300mAh battery and runs Android 3.1 Honeycomb.
The HTC Jetstream is also the first 4G LTE enabled tablet with AT&T and measures 9.87 x 7 x 0.51 inches and weighs in at 25 ounces, and apparently AT&T in their generosity will include the HTC Scribe pen with the Android slate at no extra cost.
So there you have it, another Android tablet option for potential customers on the AT&T network, does the HTC Jetstream capture the attention of any of our readers out there, and are you considering picking up the slate? Fell free to let us know by dropping up a comment below.
