Most probably know there’s a new 4G LTE capable Android smartphone destined to play nice on the Big Red network at some point, and known as the Samsung Stratosphere, however up until now there haven’t been any clear pictures of the device, but that changes today as the Samsung Stratosphere has posed for a nice clear photo.
The Stratosphere picture comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Pocket Now and shows off the Samsung Stratosphere in all its sliding QWERTY keyboard glory. The Samsung Stratosphere originally presumed to be Verizon’s version of the Samsung Galaxy S II although that rumour was later found out to be false.
The Stratosphere is according to the article an upper mid range handset and although not much is known when it comes to specifications, it is said that the smartphone has an awesome display, along with a 5 megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front facing camera, roughly 2GB storage and runs the Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread operating system.
According to rumour, although unconfirmed, the Samsung Stratosphere is expected to become available as of the 8th of this month, and as that’s only two days away, the Big Red should be confirming that quite soon one would expect, although the guys do estimate the price of the Samsung Stratosphere to be around the 150 buck on contract mark.
So until the 8th rolls around and hopefully those wishing to snap up the Samsung Stratosphere can do so, you’ll have to make do with this picture of the device, at least you now know what the handset looks like.
