The Motorola Droid RAZR, also known as the Spyder has been said to be the same smartphone as the Droid HD, only time will tell what the name will be but we do know it is real and marked as coming soon.
If you read our previous article by James titled “Droid RAZR On Its Way From Motorola?” This all seems to be coming true, we asked if the RAZR had its day and shouldn’t be revisited. Well we have a little more news for you by way of ‘This is my next’.
Further confirmation to the article we wrote previously has surfaced suggesting the Motorola Droid RAZR is very real, and the specs seem very good indeed with it being very close to the Motorola Droid Bionic, but we all fell in love with the style of the Moto RAZR when it was released, so to have Android on board as well this could be what Motorola needs to win the hearts of a few more customers.
There were many Moto customers that did not like the RAZR, and there were a few that loved it, personally we loved it and cannot wait to see the release of the Droid RAZR.
The Droid RAZR / Droid HD / Spyder, what ever the name will be is expected to features specs such as a dual-core 1.2GHz processor, Full HD video recording, 8-megapixel camera, 1GB RAM, 4.3-inch qHD display, 540 x 960 resolution Super AMOLED screen, 4G LTE and a front-facing camera for video calls.
Apparently it will also come with splash-resistant Kevlar chassis, we will let you know more about the specifications and features, release dates, prices etc as soon as we know. For us to keep you informed, please join me Mark Chubb on Facebook, Twitter or Google+.
We would also love to know what name you prefer best, if you scroll down a little you will see a poll question, all you need to do I click your answer field. All photos via The Verge, this is a new site coming fall 2011.
