Apparently this new update is ready to install right now, PocketNow by way of DarkyROM have information covering the new Android Gingerbread 2.3.5 (Build date September 15th). The sources say that the Android 2.3.5 Gingerbread for the Samsung Galaxy S II is firmware version is I9100XXKI3, basically this means European version 3, dated September 15.
The Samsung Galaxy S II is getting a lot of attention lately, so far 10-million units have been sold in just five months, many more sales will be accomplished if Samsung wins it’s legal battle with Apple that could potentially get the iPhone 5 banned in Korea and Europe.
The Galaxy S II with its vibrant display and stunning long-lasting battery life seems to be a winner with customers so to get this new firmware update would be rewarding.
