A couple of days ago we informed our readers that the Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro will finally release in the United Kingdom as of the 6th of October, as long as there are no further delays of course, and if you are sitting on the fence on whether to pick up the Android handset, perhaps a nice unboxing video will help you make up your mind.

Thus that’s what we have for your viewing consideration below courtesy of the guys over at Ubergizmo and by way of the SE Community, a Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro unboxing that lasts almost a nice cool five and a half minutes, so not too long to spend watching.

If you have been waiting on this Android 2.3.4 Gingerbread smartphone to arrive, it’s been so long coming you might have forgotten the specifications so here’s a quick reminder…

The Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro offers a 3.7-inch capacitive touch screen, a slide out QWERTY keyboard for the heavy texter of course, 8 megapixel rear facing auto-focus camera with LED flash and 720p video, VGA front facing camera, Mobile Bravia Engine, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, GPS, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, 320MB internal memory, microSD expansion up to 32GB and a 3.5mm jack.

Price wise for the SIM free Xperia Pro the device commands a tag of some £349.99, which is roughly $558, no word on what pricing carriers will slap on the device yet though, so until the handset finally comes out to play, head on down and mash that play button to check out the unboxing of all three colour variants, black, red and silver along with a quick hands-on…enjoy.
