Yell For Android Gets Updated to v3.0
Phones review Quickie: For the Android faithful out there that use the Yell app on their Android device you might like to know that Yell has now updated their app whilst Yell also intends updating the Yell iPhone app at some stage in the not too distant future.
If you use the Yell app for Android you’ll no doubt already know the app offers local search of your area for business info when on the go, with the ability to plot results on a map along with delivering directions and such info as opening hours, services, reviews and such.
There are a few enhancements included in the Yell v3.0 app and includes new icon shortcuts, enhanced interaction and navigation, extra content displayed on businesses including services, opening times and images, along with enhanced mapping and directions using Google Maps.
To date the Yell app for Android has been downloaded in excess of 250,000 times and currently has a rate of four and a half stars on the market, and Yell will be further updating the application over the coming month adding more features.
So if you are an Android device user and currently don’t use the Yell app but wish to try it out, you can download the free application by hitting up the Android Market.
