Many of you may be a little disappointed that Samsung is not holding its event on October 11, but we have some more bad news for Verizon customers. The Samsung Nexus Prime has made its way into FCC.
The Nexus Prime, and we mean the non-Verizon model has arrived at FCC with both AT&T and T-Mobile radios, some say it will be called the Nexus Prime and some say it will be the Galaxy Nexus (GT-I9250), but it is good news that it has cruised onto FCC.
If you visit FCC here you will notice “A3LGTI9250”, which is the new Nexus phone, everyone thought this Android Ice Cream Sandwich smartphone would have been a Verizon exclusive, but guess we were all wrong, this may still happen has nothing has been finalised as of yet.
Droid-Life has received a press invite from a certain company at CTIA; apparently they said, “I know we’re up against the Samsung/Google news and the Verizon announcement…”
The Samsung Event happening next week has been cancelled, but we will hopefully see it kick off this month still, we will let you know when. Could the LTE version of the Nexus Prime still be the first one released? We reported not so long ago that the Samsung Nexus Prime would release on the big red as of the 27th of October, we will see.
There is not much more to go on at the moment, but we will keep you updated. Please join Phones Review on Facebook and Twitter; you can also connect with Mark Chubb on Google+.
