Phones Review Quickie: Although Apple continues to block Samsung gear across the globe if you are in the good old US of A and have been waiting for the chance to pre-order the latest Samsung Galaxy tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus, it appears you can now do so online.
According to the guys over at Phandroid, the Android Honeycomb Galaxy Tab 7 Plus is now listed for presale on retailer J&R, with two versions of the Android slate on offer, the 16GB model and the 32GB model.
The Samsung Galaxy 7 Plus is of course the follow up slate to the original Samsung Galaxy Tab, and the new tablet offers along with Android 3.2 Honeycomb of course, a 7-inch touch screen display, 3 megapixel rear facing camera, 2 megapixel front facing camera, 1.2GHz dual core processor, and microSD expansion.
As for the asking prices of the two Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus models, the 16GB version will set you back 400 bucks whilst the 32GB model will hit your pocket for 500 bucks.
The guys say the pricing seems a tad on the steep side for this size tablet, but one has to remember that it does come with the made-for-tablets Honeycomb operating system and has the potential to appeal to the lover of smaller sized slates.
As for when you can expect to be able to hold the Android Galaxy tab 7 Plus in your mitts, the guys expect the device to be available either late this month or sometime early in November. Any of our readers hoping to snap up the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 Plus?
