UK iPhone 4S before America, busy queues
Today is iPhone 4S day, and believe it or not UK will get this Apple smartphone before USA. The UK iPhone 4S before America is quite amazing considering it is an American product.
We have to remember all countries will be getting the iPhone 4S at the same time, even though time zones are different 8am October 14 in UK is the same as 8am October 14 in USA, it just means UK customers will physically get their hands on the iPhone 4S first.
Tokyo and Australia already have the iPhone 4S, which means they got it before UK. Customers would have received an Email from Apple, thousands of you will o see the order status saying “Shipped”, just click on the order status link and see who is delivering yours.
We are getting our iPhone 4S delivered by TNT, so we went onto TNT’s website and put the delivery order reference number into the track-n-trace field, our order now says on TNT’s track and trace site “13/10/2011 Out for delivery”, which means we should receive our iPhone today.
We here at Phones Review like to get out and about, we visited Cribbs Causeway Mall in Bristol and it is mayhem, a good mayhem though. We must shoot ourselves in the foot, because we forgot our phone and camera to shoot photos. Queues are solid but with a great atmosphere, everyone seems very happy indeed. We asked a few iPhone 4S customers in a line outside O2 what they are looking forward to the most on the iPhone 4S and got mixed answers, the Siri Assistant is the main must have, and some have said for the faster processer and better camera.
Covent Garden is very busy also, the iPhone 4S is all over the news and Daybreak on ITV was there (check out a few photos below via the TV using camera).
Are you sitting by the front door waiting for your iPhone 4S, or are you queuing for yours outside a store?
