PlayStation Suite games that are exclusive may not be that soon, those that are exclusive to Sony devices may be thrown out of the window soon because they will become available for Android OS devices. Kazuo Hirai who is one of the bosses of Sony has confirmed that they are working on making available PlayStation Suite of games to more Android devices in the future.
PC World has a quote by Hirai saying ““This isn’t an ecosystem where we want to keep everything within the Sony family… This is not just for Sony devices,”
Sony is now in discussions with non-Sony firms and trying to get them on board, PlayStation Suite games only run on Sony-branded Android devices like the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play, Sony Tablet P and Tablet S.
Sony is rolling out next month an SDK, this will allow developers to create games for all PS-Certified devices, and these devices include the PS3 console, Vita portable game console, plus Sony’s Android tablets and phones. The questionable question is “Will SDK created games run a lot slower that specifically written games like the Vita and Xperia Play?
What devices would you like to see Sony PlayStation Suite games on? How about the Apple iPad 3, ok we are allowed to dream right.
