Honeycomb Motorola Xoom LTE for Verizon Now Available
If you have been holding off picking up the Android Honeycomb packing Motorola Xoom because you didn’t wish to go through the hassle of sending the Android slate back to be upgraded with 4G LTE, well you just might like to know that you can now grab the 4G LTE version of the slate from the Big Red.
Yes folks for those that have been waiting for the day, the day is now according to the guys over at Ubergizmo and by way of Droid Matters, and you can now pick up the Motorola Xoom 4G LTE from both Verizon Wireless online and Motorola online.
Of course the Motorola Xoom 4G LTE is exactly the same as the Motorola Xoom but now with 4G radios, and takes that hassle of having to ship your Honeycomb slate back to be upgraded, so spec wise you’ll still be getting a 10.1-inch touch screen, 1GHz Tegra 2 dual core processor, Android 3.2 Honeycomb OS and 1GB RAM.
Apparently though the Motorola Xoom 4G LTE is only available in a 32GB model that will hit your pocket for 500 bucks if you sign your life away for the usual two-year term, or if you wish to go the off contract route the Motorola Xoom 4G LTE will set you back a hefty $669.99.
So there you go, if you have been patiently waiting for the Motorola Xoom 4G LTE model to become available for purchase you can now go get it.
