Samsung Galaxy Nexus accessories showing up at Verizon
If you are going to snap up the first smartphone to come out to play packing Android Ice Cream Sandwich, namely the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, then maybe you’ll want a few accessories to go along with your shiny new Android smartphone, and it appears that the Big Red will have your back covered in that area.
According to the guys over at Phandroid by way of Droid-life, some Verizon stores are now receiving Galaxy Nexus accessories, something that should indicate that the Android 4.0 packing Galaxy Nexus smartphone should be hitting Verizon shelves anytime soon now.
A couple of Samsung Galaxy Nexus cases have been spotted gracing Big Red stores in the form of a hard case with a kickstand and holster combination along with a silicone cover for the handset.
There have been a few release dates tipped for the Samsung Galaxy Nexus to hit, the 17th or 21st of this month, or possible after Black Friday, but as yet nothing has been confirmed although we do know that over here in the UK the shipping date for the device from Amazon UK has been moved to the 2nd of December.
However, the guys do say that there is a possibility that Verizon could possible put the Samsung Galaxy Nexus up for grabs as a web exclusive and then launch the device after, although with the Motorola Droid RAZR becoming available as of today it seems somewhat unlikely the Big Red would deliver the Galaxy Nexus today or tomorrow.
But as of right now those Galaxy Nexus accessories are languishing at Verizon store so the release of the device can’t be that far off, are you eagerly awaiting the arrival of the first ICS smartphone?
