The latest iTunes with iTunes Match is now available to download, developers are starting to download the new iTunes Music 10.5.1 Beta 3, which promises to fix a few bugs. A few devs have installed it and mini-reviews and guides on how to download are starting to come in.
iDB are one of those that have downloaded the new iTunes 10.5.1 Beta 3 with iTunes Match, they give their little outtake on how it went and what it offers. They mention that Apple have deleted all iCloud libraries, the reason for this is simply to prepare for the official launch of iTunes Match, obviously no one knows as of yet when it will go public.
The source above says iTunes Match Beta 3 is much more responsive and faster than its previous betas, actual matching on iTunes works well, as well as music downloads on the iOS devices. The continue to say that album art downloads much faster on their iPhone using iTunes Match beta 3, overall a very nice experience.
iTunes Match has many cool features, the iCloud service can scan all your music in your iTunes library, and then it will work its wonders by matching it with the content Apple has in its digital system. Streaming matched music in high quality to iOS devices is beautiful now, as well as the Apple TV.
The new service will cost $24.99 a year, but if you sign up during iTunes Match’s beta phase, you will get a cool extra three months of the service for free. Please visit the source above as they have their “How to Use iTunes Match Beta 3”, enjoy.
