Well now, I’m not too sure just how many of the iPhone faithful out there would be courageous enough to attempt this little feat with their own iPhone 4S, but if you have the desire to get inside your new iOS smartphone for whatever reason we have a little video that may help you accomplish such a feat and tear down the iPhone 4S.
The how to tear down the iPhone 4S video footage comes our way courtesy of the guys over at Daily iPhone Blog and by way of the CellphonezoneL YouTube page and delivers twenty-tree minutes of patiently and gently pulling apart Apple’s latest handset.
In the footage you will get to see how to strip down your iPhone 4S and change the digitiser, and the tools required to perform the tear down are a Pentalobe screwdriver, a Phillips screwdriver, a flat head screwdriver, a pry tool, and a pair of tweezers.
Firstly you’ll need to turn off your iPhone 4S obviously and then remove the SIM tray, and then set about removing the Pentalobe screws on the bottom edge of your handset, after which you wont require the Pentalobe screwdriver again.
I won’t go into all the details of the iPhone 4S tear down, otherwise there wouldn’t be a need to head on down and check out the video so I’ll leave it right there and let you do so, however one must remember that if you do decide to perform surgery on your iPhone 4S you will of course void the warranty…enjoy the video.
