If you are over here in the United Kingdom and are in the market for a low end Android smartphone, or perhaps you wish to get your kid an Android device for Christmas, but don’t want them tied to the usual two-year contract, then perhaps Phones4U might have what you are looking for in the Huawei Blaze.
According to the guys over at Intomobile by way of Eurodroid, if you are looking for a reasonably priced Android smartphone on a pay as you go basis, whether for yourself or for that special Christmas present, Phones4U is now offering the Huawei Blaze, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread smartphone for a very reasonable £79.99 sans contract.
If you pick up the Huawei Blaze from Phones4U you get the option to choose which carrier you go with between T-Mobile, O2, Vodafone and Orange, and although the price is £79.99 you will also be required to purchase a 10 quid top up bring the price to £90.
This offer from Phones4U makes the Huawei Blaze one of the cheapest Pay as you go Android handsets currently available.
As for what the Huawei Blaze offers the customer, a 3.2-inch HVGA capacitive curved touchscreen, 110mm x 56.5mm x 11.2mm, 3.2 megapixel front-facing camera, 115 grams, MSM7227, HSDPA 7.2Mbps, UMTS900/2100M, Edge (Optional) /GSM, it also comes with up to 16GB thanks to the Micro SD card slot, 256MB, RAM 512MB flash, Bluetooth BT2.1 A2DP, WiFi 801.11b/g/n, Micro USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm jack.
