If you are over here in the United Kingdom and have been waiting patiently to snap up the smartphone come mini tablet that is the Samsung Galaxy Note, you just might like to know that you can now purchase the Android packing device albeit the price just might make you think twice.
According to the guys over at Technobuffalo, the only carrier you can get the Samsung Galaxy Note from today is O2UK, as far as they know anyway, and is on offer when signing up for the usual two-year term as a free handset on a 63 quid per month contract.
For that £63 per month you’ll get that free Android 2.3 Gingerbread hybrid along with unlimited texts and unlimited minutes with 500MB data. If you wish to gain a lower monthly outlay you could opt for shelling out 47 quid per month for which you’ll get 1200 minutes, unlimited texts and 500MB data, but the device will set you back and upfront payment of £59.99.
If you wish to opt for the lowest tariff, the Samsung Galaxy Note commands an upfront price tag of a whopping £249.99 on a tow-year contract with a tariff offering 50 minutes, 250 texts and 500MB data.
All tariffs are based on £6.00 per 500MB data, but if you want less 100MB cost £300 or if you want more, 1GB data costs £10, so the monthly pricing would need to be adjusted according to your preference.
If you prefer to have the contract over an 18-month term to get the Samsung Galaxy Note for free the monthly cost would be £68 offering both unlimited texts and minutes along with 500MB data.
So there you have it, if you really want the Samsung Galaxy Note today you’ll need to hit up O2, but are you prepared to shell out the cash or will you go for that free device?
