Amazon Kindle Fire disassembled on video

If you are a proud owner of the Amazon Kindle Fire and have a desire to tinker with the internals of your Android slate, you could always hit up the iFixit website and follow their instructions as they recently tore down the Kindle Fire, but if you are a more audio visual kind of person, we have an Amazon Kindle Fire disassembly video for your consideration below.

The Amazon Kindle Fire teardown and screen repair directions video comes our way courtesy of the guys over at the Boy Genius Report and by way of Directfix.com, and delivers just on ten-minutes of taking apart Amazon’s first Android slate.

Of course one does have to say at this point if you do decide to rip apart your Amazon Kindle Fire you do so at your own risk and will of course void any warranty, so bear that in mind before picking up that case opener tool.

According to the iFixit teardown of the Kindle Fire the slate doesn’t have too many complicated parts inside and thus they gave the Kindle Fire a repair rating of 8 out of 10 and requiring just a case opener tool and a screwdriver to get inside and the LCD is not fused to the glass cover so is easy to replace.

Anyway, I’m sure you don’t want me to go all the way through the process here so I’ll shut up and let you head down below to mash that play button and check out the footage of the Amazon Kindle Fire being taken apart…enjoy.
