The new PS Vita will be releasing in PAL regions February 22nd 2012, and news just in reports that Vodafone will be the ones supplying 3G Connectivity to customers. SCEE aka Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and Vodafone have just announced its partnership for 3G-connectivity for PlayStation Vita.
So to start the ball rolling those that live in the UK, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, The Netherlands and Vodafone’s Partner in France will get this service.
When customers purchase the Sony PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi model in select countries, you will get in the box a Vodafone SIM card, this means that gamers can play games straight out of the box and enjoy the social gaming experience according to the official PlayStation Blog.
You will be able to buy the PS Vita online and from select stores, when customers connect with Vodafone they will also get a voucher to download WipEout 2048 from PlayStation Store. This is great news to those that want the PS Vita and already on the Vodafone network; also this will bring new customers to the Vodafone table.
